Susan Wiencke

Susan is a mother, wife, teacher, artist and gifted somatic therapist. She has a masters degree in education, taught sustainable agriculture at McDaniels High School for a decade before she helped develop the somatic therapy and natural dye programs at Owl Song. She believes in healing past traumas, beliefs and stuck energy with a combination of talk therapy, unlocking what is stuck in the body through and attuning to the natural cycles of nature that pulse through our animate bodies. She is passionate and knowledgeable about plants the magic therein, making medicine, food, art and natural dye from plants grown on the property.

Janette Kaden

Janette is a mother, wife, death doula and musician. She is a certified death doula with a bachelors degree in business and is the co-owner of the Tin Shed garden cafe. Janette is passionate about the death positivity movement which strives to not only acknowledge, but embrace our own mortality. By being in the truth and acceptance of our dying, we may die consciously and in deep and meaningful connection with those we love.

Jude Kaden

Jude is eight years old and loves climbing, playing in the dirt, sports and playing in the snow. Jude is an energetic and social fella who loves hanging out with folks who spend time on the land. He is very persuasive and may convince you to go for a walk to the creek together.
